LLC “MNKT” adheres to the highest environmental standards. Rational use of natural resources and maintaining a favorable ecological situation in the regions where we operate are among the Company’s top priorities.
LLC “MNKT” strives to establish safe working conditions and a clean environment at all its facilities. Each Company division operates its own monitoring system to ensure compliance with established occupational safety, health, and environmental protection regulations.
Environmental protection is closely linked to occupational safety and industrial safety. Daily monitoring of pipelines is conducted: employees track equipment wear and promptly replace outdated components, mitigating risks.
In collaboration with the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Republic of Tatarstan, environmental monitoring is carried out: the Center’s mobile environmental laboratory regularly collects soil, water, and air samples at work sites and compares results with maximum permissible levels of hazardous substances.
LLC “MNKT” has reason to take pride—over the past 20 years, laboratory analysis indicators for all parameters have remained within normal limits. This confirms the Company’s status as one of the most environmentally safe companies in the industry.
Ensuring occupational safety is one of the most critical objectives of LLC “MNKT. Strict regulations, compliant with the legislation of the Russian Federation, are enforced across all divisions. These regulations require every employee and piece of equipment to align with principles of safe operations, secure working conditions, and the prevention of environmental pollution.
The company does not permit unprepared or unqualified specialists to operate equipment. All employees undergo a multi-level training system, including professional training at educational centers, as well as daily and quarterly internal briefings. Additional training is provided to upgrade qualifications, retrain personnel, and expand their authority. Annual qualification verification and certification are conducted.
To confirm readiness for actions to localize and eliminate oil and petroleum product spills, LLC “MNKT” conducts comprehensive exercises with the participation of representatives from federal executive authorities: the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM), Rostekhnadzor, Rosprirodnadzor, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and local government bodies.
During these exercises, the following tasks are practiced:
- Notification of a simulated oil spill;
- Coordination between the company’s Emergency Response Commission (ERC) and Occupational Safety Service (OSS) with federal executive authorities (EMERCOM, Rostekhnadzor, Rosprirodnadzor, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources) and local self-government bodies;
- Deployment of personnel and resources to the simulated spill site;
- Containment and elimination of the simulated oil spill;
- Temporary storage and transportation of collected oil and/or petroleum products.
Employees of LLC “MNKT” participate in these comprehensive exercises. Thanks to the good preparation of the personnel and management, emergency rescue units, and life support services, the hypothetical emergency situation is successfully localized and eliminated in the shortest possible time. According to current legislation, these exercises are conducted once every three years. During the comprehensive exercises, two practical stages are practiced, addressing issues of notification, operation of the company’s emergency response and fire safety organization, deployment of forces and resources, reconnaissance, localization, elimination, and disposal of collected oil. Based on the results of the exercises, an interdepartmental commission has consistently recognized LLC “MNKT,” since its inception, as fully prepared to contain and eliminate oil spills.
