Oil & Gas Production Technology
High performance exploration and production opens the door to the future.
New technology is the key to recovering residual reserves of mature fields. The MNKT Technology Strategy, which is inextricably linked to the Company’s strategic goals and real business opportunities, combines promising trends that relate to all areas of oil and gas production. Oil companies tend to face a number of challenges, which include declining production of brown fields and increasing percentage of green fields that have a more complex geological profile (e.g. unconventional reserves, carbonate and fractured reservoirs and sub-gas deposits).
Our Company created the comprehensive list of production technology challenges grouped according to top-priority goals for producing companies.

MNKT makes use of advanced technologies in oil and gas production. For example, the first Mobile Dehydration Plant of MNKT was commissioned at Nurkeevskoye field in June 2022, which made it possible to resume oil production in the volumes of up to 100 t/d. This is the very first mobile facility of its kind in the Republic of Tatarstan and it fully performs as a capital asset. The mobility of the Dehydration Plant allows for easy installation at various sites, since there are only flanged connections and no rigid foundation is required.
The execution phase of the project lasted nine months and comprised development of design documents, manufacturing of equipment, pre-assembly at the Manufacturer’s site, transportation, assembly of equipment at the construction site and commissioning. The unique feature of the MNKT Dehydration Plant is the possibility of easy installation at various sites, since there are only flanged connections and no rigid foundation is required. The Mobile Dehydration Plant consists of oil and gas separator, oil tank, water buffer tank, drain tank, set of instruments for sealed top loading of petroleum products into tank trucks, cold vent and control station.
Our Company continues the development of Nurkeevskoye field. We plan to increase the capacity of the Mobile Dehydration Plant up to 200 t/d and expand the Mobile Dehydration Plant by introducing an additional oil and gas separator and oil line heater, as well as constructing 2000 m3 oil storage farm.
Another project of Mobile Dehydration Plant No. 2 has been implemented at Agbyazovskoye field since August 2024 as part of the reconstruction of oil & gas production facility, ensuring oil recovery of up to 120 t/d.
This facility allows for the utilisation of associated gas for the Company own needs due to additional oil heater and gas separator providing its cleaning and treatment as fuel. In 2024, MNKT produced, processed and sold over 440,000 tons of oil.
Russia is one of the world’s largest producers and exporters of natural gas, including liquefied natural gas. Notwithstanding, the ever-growing global environmental concern implies that it is crucial to assess the existing condition of modern technologies used in gas production and processing from the perspective of the environmental footprint in the country.
