Company History

Back in the summer of 2001, employees of MNKT JSC discovered an oil field with an abandoned well No. 207 at a plot of land near the village of Agbyazovo.

In collaboration with Burkan, an oilfield service company from Bashkortostan, MNKT successfully brought the well back to life. The first oil was produced on December 31, 2001.

The first Central Processing Facility (CPF-1) was launched in 2002. This entailed the start of oil separation: processed oil was then collected in the tanks of Aktanyshnefteprodukt JSC. Oil production amounted to 10 tons per day, but there was no possibility for sales at that time.

The same year witnessed the launch of the Central Processing Facility No. 2, drilling of 10 more wells and renovation of MNKT production facilities, as well as development of Agbyazovskoye field. It was when the construction of Oil and Gas Production Unit began, along with purchasing of new vehicles, including two oil trucks.

Just one year later, MNKT transferred oil to the Booster Pump Station BPS-1 of the Oil and Gas Production Unit No. 8 of Aznakaevneft Oil and Gas Production Division (Directorate).

The second production facility was launched in late 2003, reaching the headcount 70 employees and the total well stock of 73 wells. Our Company at the time produced 470 t/d of oil.

The reconstruction of Booster Pump Station BPS-1 and the installation of water heaters marked 2004.

As a result, the water content in commercial oil significantly decreased to the maximum of 0.1%. This was an outstanding achievement!

Several years later, the development of Suncheleevskoye and Zapadno-Bureykinskoye fields began. The producing well stock of Zapadno-Bureykinskoye field reached 65 wells, with 59 operating wells producing 9.4 t/d of oil. Suncheleevskoye field accounted for 19 producing wells, with 14 operating wells producing 6.6 t/d of oil. The same year, the construction began for the oil field administrative offices and was completed for the Booster Pump Station at Suncheleevskoye field.

This was the period when our Company was taking a new turn: the facilities were expanded, the technologies were enhanced, the Logistics department was established. There were approximately 80 employees in the production department of TNGK-Razvitie in 2006.

The major construction and installation works of TNGK-Razvitie began in 2008. The following equipment was commissioned in 2009:

  • flare package with ignition system;
  • settling tanks OG-100P – 2 pcs;
  • oil line preheaters PP-0.63 – 2 pcs;
  • buffer vessels and underground storage tanks.

The following facilities obtained commissioning permits in 2012:

  • Pioneer Custody Transfer Facility at Suncheleevskoye field;
  • vertical steel tank RVS-1000 for BPS-1S at Suncheleevskoye field (in assembly with foaming agent storage tank, fire-rated wall and fire water tanks of 700 m3);
  • gas supply for line preheaters PP-0.63 at the Bureyka Metering Unit;
  • gas supply for oil line preheaters at the Pioneer CTF.

The five-year development of 633A well pad at Suncheleevskoye field started in 2013. Our Company relied on continuous retrofitting of the Oil & Gas Production Unit and the fields, as well as of the vehicles fleet.

By then, the professional and united team of the Oil & Gas Production Unit ensure production of approximately 770 t/d of oil from 154 wells. Our Company has always kept pushing forward and moving ahead, developing new fields and getting new oil.

The period between 2019 and 2022 witnessed drilling and commissioning of well pad No. 18059 at Suncheleevskoye field with production rate of 183.5 t/d. It also marked the construction of a 113 km oil line from the Oil and Gas Production Directorate to Booster Pump Station BPS-1 in Aktanysh.

The first Mobile Dehydration Plant of MNKT was commissioned at Nurkeevskoye field in June 2022, which made it possible to resume oil production in the volumes of up to 100 t/d. This is the very first mobile facility of its kind in the Republic of Tatarstan and it fully performs as a capital asset. The mobility of the Dehydration Plant allows for easy installation at various sites, since there are only flanged connections and no rigid foundation is required.

Another project of Mobile Dehydration Plant No. 2 has been implemented at Agbyazovskoye field since August 2024 as part of the reconstruction of oil & gas production facility, ensuring oil recovery of up to 120 t/d.

This facility allows for the utilisation of associated gas for the Company own needs due to additional oil heater and gas separator providing its cleaning and treatment as fuel. In 2024, MNKT produced, processed and sold over 440,000 tons of oil.
